In July 2021, volunteers from Flo Haven visited Fountain of Wisdom Schools in Agege, Lagos to raise awareness about period poverty among young girls. The team used the Flo Haven curriculum and provided menstrual kit bags to about 50 girls while demonstrating proper hygiene practices.The outreach program was well-received by the students and teachers, who expressed appreciation for the initiative.The team also distributed pamphlets and provided contact information for future support. Overall, the program was successful in educating young girls on menstrual hygiene and the need to address period poverty in Nigeria.
